Reviews and Ratings
The hotel has a convenient location close to Ghats, Sadhus, and the bustling Varanasi area. The rooms, although fine in February, may get extremely hot and stuffy during the summer months. The service was fantastic and friendly, offering essential amenities on time. The dining experience could be more diverse, especially for guests with dietary restrictions. Overall, a mixed experience with a great location but some room for improvement in other aspects.
The hotel is perfect for both families and couples, being centrally located between the kitchen, lobby, and restaurant. While the rooms are exceptionally costly compared to other well-known hotels, the service is extra accommodating and extremely welcoming. The location is brilliant, especially for those wanting to be near The Ganges. The dining options could be more accommodating for special dietary needs, but the view overlooking the Ganges is something to remember.
Despite the smaller-than-expected windowsless rooms at £53 a night, my stay at the hotel was generally pleasant. The staff were really helpful and laid back, although there were some minor issues like the bin not being emptied at checkout. The location, right next to Assi Ghat with views of the Ganges and walking distance to cafes, was superb, providing a good Varanasi experience without being too hectic. The dining options were a bit poor, with limited choices, but the homemade rolls were satisfactory.
